Honorarium

Virtual Virginia Ratings

We realize some referees haven't had the time to go have their rating updated by an FOC examiner at a NAC, so we have a system of our own. Any referee with a national rating can observe someone and award them a rating. The maximum rating is a 7, and no higher than one below the examiner's actual national rating in that weapon.

Travel

If you work one day, you get one-way mileage. If you work two days, you get round-trip mileage. $0.45/mile. That's how much we compensate for travel. But if you get more than one referee in a car, you all get paid the mileage.

Hotel

If you are driving 75 miles or more to the venue, you can get hotel reimbursement. Work one day, get $50 for a hotel if you stay in a hotel. Work two consecutive days, get $100 for your hotel.

Mutiple trips

If you drive to the venue and back home each day, you get the mileage reimbursement for each day you drive. You cannot get hotel and 2x mileage for one weekend.

Food

We try to have coffee and donuts available in the morning of each competition, but there's no guarantee.

We will provide you lunch, either from a concession stand, or ordered from a local restaurant.
